FDA Appetite Suppressants Available:

A sympathomimetic amine, Phendimetrazine is a weight loss pill similar to an amphetamine. It works by stimulating the central nervous system to increase heart rate and blood pressure while decreasing appetite. Effective in the short term, Phendimetrazine should be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise regimen.

Diethylpropion is an appetite suppressant that also works in combination with diet to aid weight loss. Available in regular and extended-release tablets, Diethylpropion works in a way similar to Phendimetrazine, however it should not be taken with other appetite suppressants, as serious health issues can result.

The Phentermine diet pill stimulates the hypothalamus gland and affects certain neurotransmitters to decrease appetite. Phentermine is one of the most commonly prescribed appetite suppressants out there.  As with Phendimetrazine and Diethylpropion, Phentermine should be part of a healthy diet and exercise plan.

Topirimate contains an anti-convulsant property that calms the abnormal excitable nerve cells in the brain. This in turn helps you to get relief from binge eating that further avoids weight gain. It also gives relief from many other health problems.  It suppresses the appetite and makes you feel full.
