Male Hair B&A

Charleston Hair Club

Skinny Me is excited to announce PRP Hair Restoration.  Hair loss can be an embarrassing issue. Male and female pattern hair loss is a genetic condition that can leave you feeling helpless. Many options, such as prescription drugs, are often partially effective and carry the potential for unwanted side effects. Surgical hair restoration can be expensive and does not treat the underlying medical causes.  Skinny Me offers an affordable way to improve your hair density without surgery or harmful side effects. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for hair restoration involves a simple injection of your own platelets into the vascular layer of your scalp.  It is a quick 30-minute procedure and has no down-time.  There are several benefits to PRP hair regrowth and that is why it should be your first choice.  For instance, PRP hair regrowth increases your blood supply to the follicles and increases shaft size, which intensifies hair thickness.  Furthermore, it triggers and maintains the growth phase, controls the hair growth cycle and decreases hair loss.

Call us today to learn more about the Charleston Hair Club at (843) 352-9642.  We are located at 1459 Stuart Engals Blvd. Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.

fact-or-fiction-

hCG Facts vs. Fiction

The hCG diet has been around since the 1950s and, ever since Dr. Simeons developed his protocol, many myths about his protocol surfaced.  Many of you may wonder and question these same myths about the hCG diet, so we would like to set the record straight.

Myth 1:  The hCG diet is harmful.

The hCG diet has been around for more than 50 years and has a proven and lasting effect.  Some healthcare providers may discourage patients from the hCG diet and that is usually because they do not know enough about it.  A person on the hCG diet needs to be supervised by a medical professional and follow guidelines set forth by the providers.  There have been NO instances where a person was put in danger because of the hCG diet.

Myth 2: The hCG diet is unhealthy and unnatural.

The hCG diet is a great way to start introducing certain healthy and natural foods into your life.  The hCG diet is not only institutes a diet program, but also a lifestyle change.  For those of you that do not know, hCG is a natural hormone found in the human body that is not harmful or dangerous, if taken in the right dose and right time.  The hCG targets the stored fat in the body and begins to utilize it as energy, which results in extensive weight loss.

Myth 3: The hCG diet does not help keep the weight off.

The hCG helps the body to rid excess fat for good, as long as the patient follows the medical experts’ advice and the program.  Skinny Me has helped thousands of patients achieve their desired weight and become healthy. On average in 42 days, women lose between 20-45 pounds and men lose between 30-55 pounds.

Please call Skinny Me’s Rock Hill, SC location at (803) 980-8446 or Charleston, SC location at (843) 352-9642 for additional information.  Feel free to stop by either at 850 Cherry Road, Rock Hill SC 29732 or email skinnymerockhill@gmail.com.  We would love to help you get started today to a healthy lifestyle!

O-Shot (2)

The O-Shot

Skinny Me is proud to announce that they will be the first to to offer the O-Shot (Orgasm shot) treatment in our Charleston location: 1459 Stuart Engals Boulevard, Suite #202, Mount Pleasant SC, 29464.  Our Skinny Me medical provider, Dr. Anita Dormer was trained by Dr. Charles Runels, the creator of the O-Shot.  This treatment is designed to improve women’s sexual experiences.  It is a non-surgical procedure, proven to treat sexual dysfunction and stimulate the vagina in a way that positively impacts an orgasm, using the patient’s own blood.  The Skinny Me O-Shot treatment is used with PRP, or platelet-rich plasma.  Once the plasma has been extracted, it is then placed in a syringe and injected into an area near the clitoris and injected into an area just inside the vagina, which is where the “o-spot” is. Those platelets then stimulate the growth of new cells in the injected sites, making those areas more sensitive to the touch.  The Skinny Me O-Shot is known to improve your orgasm, libido, and arousal.

Please call our Skinny Me Charleston location at 843-352-9642 for additional information or questions on our O-Shot treatment.  You could also stop by at 1459 Stuart Engals Boulevard, Suite #202 Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.

Man Plan (2)

The Man Plan

Skinny Me is not only a go-to establishment for women!  Skinny Me is also a one-stop-shop for men.  Skinny Me now offers weight loss, hair restoration and hormone replacements for men.  The Skinny Me Man Plan offers men a chance at losing their love handles and “beer” bellies through our hCG weight loss program.  Men typically lose 30-50 pounds with our Skinny Me 42-day hCG diet program.  It is safe, effective and protects your muscles.

In addition, men seeking more stamina and performance ability in the bedroom, or want to increase energy, should contact Skinny Me about bioidentical hormone replacement treatment (BHRT).  It is important to understand that hormonal imbalance does not just happen in women.  In fact, men experience a gradual loss of hormones, primarily testosterone.  Andropause, or male menopause, occurs often and Skinny Me has a solution that will make daily life better with BHRT for men.

Another part of the Skinny Me Man Plan is the MD Pen.  Skinny Me uses MD Pen micro-needling with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) for hair restoration.  The MD Pen creates micro-injuries in the scalp that stimulate blood flow which helps hair regrowth.  Hair growth is dependent upon genes that trigger the development of new hair cells.  Using the MD Pen is an effective, natural way to stimulate hair follicle growth.

To learn more about The Skinny Me Man Plan please give the Charleston Skinny Me a call at 843-352-9642. We are located at 1459 Stuart Engals Boulevard, Suite 202, Mount Pleasant SC and we would love to hear from you!

Charleston MDPen™

Skinny Me in Charleston is not simply a weight loss solution. We can also help you to tighten skin and contour your body.  The MDPen™ represents the latest innovation in fractional micro-needling using PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma therapy).   Skinny Me offers a unique, effective, non-surgical treatment that employs the body’s nutrient riches, in the form of stem cells and growth factors, to naturally help restore health and appearance.

MDPen™ at Skinny Me activates cellular regeneration to help tighten and lift skin, while minimizing common skin problems such as acne scars, fine lines, dull skin, poor texture and much more.  MDPen™ rapidly creates a pattern of micro-channels in the treatment area.  These micro-channels significantly increase the production of collagen and elastin to leave the skin smoother, fresher, and more uniform.  Micro-channels also enhance the skin’s ability to absorb medical grade topicals, like anti-aging serums and skin lighteners, when applied during or immediately after the treatment.  Not only is the MDPen™ great for skin revitalization, but also for hair regeneration.  Micro-needling creates micro-injuries in the scalp that stimulate blood flow which helps hair growth.  The staff at the Charleston Skinny Me office have tried and have had success with the MDPen™.  Below, we have posted some links below to the live Facebook footage of Skinny Me using the MDPen™.

Ultherapy

Ultherapy®

Skinny Me in Rock Hill and in Charleston, SC are NOW offering the Ultherapy® treatment.  It is used to lift and tighten loose skin on areas such as the eyebrows, jawline, and jowls, as well as improve wrinkles on the chest. The treatment uses ultrasound energy to heat targeted tissue under the surface of the skin, stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen. It typically takes a few months to see full results, as the collagen gradually builds up to improve the skin’s tone and texture.

Another benefit of this 30-60-minute face and neck treatment is that it uses the body’s own regenerative response to gently and gradually restore memory to the skin and underlying tissue support.  There is also no down time and regular activities can be resumed afterwards.

With just one treatment, the regenerative process is initiated; but, the full effect will build gradually over the course of two to three months. Some patients may benefit from more than one treatment. Visible effects include a lifting and toning of sagging skin. In the FDA clinical trial for instance, nine out of ten patients had a noticeable, significant lift of the brow line. This resulted in reduced skin laxity on the eyelid and a more open, youthful look to the eyes overall. Patients reported firmer, better-fitting skin in other areas of the face and neck as well.

If you are interested in scheduling your Ultherapy® treatment today or need additional information please call us at either our Rock Hill location at 803-980-8446 or our Charleston location at 843-352-9642.  You can also stop by our locations between 9am-5pm at either 850 Cherry Road Rock Hill, SC 29732 or 1459 Stuart Engals Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
